1. What can you say about the content of the review program?

The Ipass review program is comprehensive, up-to-date, relevant, and dependable. It’s the type of program that won’t give you doubt of your readiness in taking the exam. Referral and discount with UWorld is a bonus factor.

2. How your online review program helped you in your exam prep

The online review program helped me big time. It not only guided me in the exam proper but also refreshed me of the nursing principles and gave me idea how they differ in the US practice. Though I was not able to actively participate in the live review sessions due to poor internet connection in our place and conflict in schedules, recorded videos worked wonders just the same.

3. What is your feedback about the Roadmap to NCLEX book?

Printing the roadmap was actually the first thing I did when I was given my moodle account. It became my bible. It witnessed how I struggled to balance my time reading it and reading my gradeschool son’s books. But each time I opened it, I made sure to really READ it, word per word. It became my friend when I was emotionally and physically struggling with neck and back pains. It was also the last material I read before I took the exam. It was so powerful.

4. What can you say about your NCLEX educators? (Jay, Rosanna, Ryan, Hya, Geno, Paola)

Hats off to all the lecturers, most especially to Sir Jay and Ms Rosanna. With Sir Jay’s cardio lecture, cardio now became my strength when it was initially my waterloo. Ms Rosanna’s endo, funda, psych and OB topics made big impact on my memory bank. Special mention to Sir Ryan who balanced all the seriousness and heaviness of the review. Good job, you guys!

5. What can you say about the review success coaches ( Mark, Jaymi, Geno, Paola, Rosenda, Emil, Sylvester, Jesie)

Ms. Rosenda became my mother in Ipass review. She never left us, her babies, even when she herself was internally struggling. That’s what a mother does. I listened to all her advices that during the exam all I can hear was her voice and her test taking strats advice. Thank you so much, Ms. Rose.

6. What is your nursing background and how the online review helped in your NCLEX preparation?

Nursing was my second course. I graduated way back 2007. NCLEX for me then was a big word and since I was broke, I never planned to take it nor work in the US. I worked instead in Saudi as Pedia Hema-Onco Nurse from 2009 to 2013. Came back in the Philippines, got married, had a child, and never left again. I previously worked as a Clinical Research Nurse in a derma clinic and some online jobs on the sides while juggling between family and career. From 2017 ‘till present, I’m employed as an Occupational Health Nurse. As time went by, fate had its toll on me. I just realized working oversees still appealed to me and that I should give US a shot. This time NCLEX was not so big as it were before and I have a supportive husband to back me. However, not being currently exposed in a solid clinical environment initially made me doubt if I can make it in NCLEX. This is primarily the reason I looked for a good review center, so as not to waste my chances of passing. Evidently, I made the right decision.

7. What board of nursing did you apply for the NCLEX?

I applied for New York state.
