In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the SCFHS exam is a countrywide examination for healthcare professionals in order to obtain their licensure. This exam is administered by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), which governs the country's general health system and grants professional classification and registration cards.
The SCFHS goal is to improve professional performance, develop skills that are relevant to scientific literature, and properly apply knowledge in various health specialties.
The SCFHS license examination is required for both local and foreign healthcare candidates to determine if they are eligible to practice in Saudi Arabia as healthcare practitioners. Nevertheless, the SCFHS exam has different application requirements depending on the candidate's Professional Classification Requirements, which differs by profession.
The DataFlow specializes in document verification, also known as Primary Source Verification (PSV), which ensures that candidates' primary data, including personal and professional credentials, are accurate for SCFHS exam applications in Saudi Arabia.
The DataFlow verification report will only show either a positive or negative result. The SCFHS dataflow reference number will be provided to each candidate who submitted documents for verification. Furthermore, any discrepancies may cause a delay in the applicants' SCFHS exam application process.
The pre-eligibility application and professional classification, or eligibility application phase of the SCFHS, determine if the candidate is qualified for the category they applied for. Afterwards, they may proceed with the SCFHS exam scheduling after receiving approval from the Saudi Council.
To prepare for the exam, the candidate should take a review course. If the candidate is unable to do so, the candidate can take advantage of the IPASS online review courses for nurse applicants who want to work in the Middle East. The candidate can then choose their preferred exam date and prepare more for the exam.
The qualifying candidate will be given further instructions for the DOs and Don'ts before the SCFHS assessment.
In some categories, exam certificates are issued after the exam. The SCFHS examination results will be available online 4-6 weeks after the exam. The score report of 500 and above will be shown and is used to distinguish whether the candidate has passed or failed.
Once passed, the candidate can now request licensing.
Note: The candidate must be reminded that to proceed with the requisition of SCFHS license issuance, the candidate must have an employer first. That is because employer information is needed to link to the Saudi regulatory body.
Licensure application may be challenging due to overwhelming qualifications and requirements for SCFHS examination application. Therefore, candidates are encouraged to seek support, especially our international healthcare candidates.
