Success Story | Shanie Briongos

(Estimated reading time: 4 minutes)

A satisfied client, named Shanie Briongos, of IPASS Processing in Kuwait shares how it was making it. With the help of the team, she reached the end with a victory dedicated not just for herself but for her family.

First, she submitted all the needed documents -TOR, PRC License, High School diploma, etc., for the CES or Credential Evaluation Service on April 22, 2019. After three months, the documents for the FBI card fingerprinter were submitted. There was the challenge of repeating it twice due to not well-done fingerprints and the police station was distant from the client’s accommodation in Kuwait.

Two emails were sent to her. One dated September 14, 2019, that wrote “REPORT ISSUED” for CES, and the other October 1, 2019, for the Authorization to Test (ATT).

She stated, as early as October 2, 2019, was the schedule of the exam. Determination struck her bringing that serious dedication to review with the help of UWORLD and listening to Mark Klimek audios daily. Despite the challenge, she still found the motivation of pushing on because demand for nurses at the time was high.

When 6th of November, 2019 came, she did not expect she’d hit rock bottom. Her grandmother passed away, losing that inspiration. Finding focus was hard, she felt so down. Despite it all, it was thanks to God, with the help of IPASS staff Ms. Sharmaine, Psychometrician, messaged a “professional consultation” which helped her to lighten up. God did send angels by using people in disguise. It really helped with both emotionally and mentally. She listened to daily motivational audios and memorized bible verses.

From December 1-3, 2019, another challenge struck, and it was Typhoon Tisoy making it hard to choose between staying or going. It was a test of faith whether to have a rescheduled date for examination or continue with it. In the end, she chose to stay in Makati Red Planet for almost four days, spent days to focus on the final review, had meditations, and took a good rest and sleep.

At 8 AM on the 4th of December, 2019, it was exam day. It was very important to be guided with God’s wisdom to be not anxious in answering every question. Before entering the room, she believed that she saw some signs of passing. The key locker given to her was number “27” (her age on the day the exam results will be released) and she was also assigned to sit on the computer “12B” (12 for her birth month and letter “B” for her surname). Just believe that God arranged all these perfectly amazing things for you in His time.

Most questions were SATA (Select All That Apply), multiple-choice and few click and drag. As it went on, questions were getting harder but she always remembered to ask God for help if it were really to happen for her. Though she wasn’t sure of the answers, it happened so fast without anxiety until the computer shut down at 75, mostly critical thinking questions (no computation, no maternity, no pedia, no psyche). Expecting for 265 questions for 6 hours, she felt shocked finishing it all questions in just two hours.

It was the 7th of December, on the day of her birthday, when she received the best gift. It was a message from IPASS with the first word written as “Congratulations”. Yes, she made it!

Thanking those who helped, here were the people that gave a push through her:
Mental aspect – Mind Web and Uworld for the content; and Mark Klimek audios and NCLEX songs by Mariz Lamorda from youtube for the Pharma drugs, psyche and stage of development (strategies for easy memorization).

Physical aspect – USANA supplements; Cellsentials for total body health for quality sleep; Coquinone for extra energy; Biomega for memory enhancer; Hepasil for liver detoxication for stress; and Proflavanol C for stronger immunity.

  • Emotional aspect – motivational audios by Les Brown.
  • Spiritual aspect – daily meditation, and attending bible study.
  • Social aspect – surrounding herself with people who were always positive and can inspire her to be the best.

Just remember that if she did it, so can you. Passing will not depend on how long or short your preparation is but on how much faith and fight you give. Just believe that God is always with you despite the challenges that block you in achieving your dreams. Never quit!
