After almost three months of canceled examinations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pearson Vue Makati has finally opened its doors again. Allowing limited number of individuals to sit for the exam due to the implementation of social distancing rules and government guidance
Pearson Professional Centers are now available for testing in the Philippines, following the implementation of General Community Quarantine in Metro Manila, wherein the testing site is located.
While it is great progress that Pearson Vue has reopened, it is also important to take note of the following reminders on the day of your exam.
Ever since it is mandatory to bring an active passport on the exam day as this will serve as your proof of identity which you will present during the check-in process.
NCLEX candidates needs to be wearing their own face mask during the testing appointment at Pearson VUE test centers. Candidates risk being turned away if they do not bring and wear a mask while at the test center. Pearson Vue will not provide face masks. Candidates will be asked to briefly remove the mask during the check-in process to take the required candidate photo. The face mask can either be surgical or the cloth type of mask.
Pearson Vue is following recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization for preventing the spread of COVID-19 and protecting testing candidates and its staff. For that reason, candidates are asked to comply with the health and safety guidelines to keep fellow candidates safe.
Apart from that, examinees are allowed to bring food or snacks they can consume during their break.

Additionally, you may be asked to reschedule your exam for another time until full health, if you exhibit symptoms upon arrival at the test center.
It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure there are no travel restrictions in place for the location where the candidate wants to take the exam.
If you will be coming from an international journey, you might be required to present travel documents. It is advisable that you coordinate with your respective airline. Prepare these things beforehand to avoid future complications.
Prometric Testing center in Sugbutel, Cebu has resumed by June 8, 2020, while the Prometric Testing center located in Jakosalem, Cebu has resumed last June 9, 2020.
All protocols are the same as the guidelines for Pearson Vue-owned testing centers.
