The Middle East, especially the United Arab Emirates, is a friendly and fascinating place. Although Arabic is the official language, English is widely spoken as the language of business. The place is known for its rich history and bright future.
In the UAE, Dubai and Abu Dhabi are amongst the most liberal states. There is high security, low crime rates, and high standards of living.
One of the most attractive things about working in the UAE is the tax-free salary. Many contracts for health professionals include–on top of the base salary–benefits such as free accommodation, travel allowance, medical cover, and bonus schemes upon completion of contact. Many of those who work in the UAE return home with financial security.
The professional language of the UAE is English and you would be very likely working with a multi-national team. Standards of care and methods are also similar to those in European countries.
To work as a nurse in the UAE, you would need a bachelor’s degree in nursing and at least two years of working experience. Then, you can undergo the application process for the licensure exam at the country of your choice.
