I graduated 13 years ago, I worked in the Philippines for 3 years and moved to UAE as an OFW nurse in JCI hospitals for 6 years. After being married and getting pregnant, I decided to go home last year in 2019 for good to take good care of my first born child.
I dreamed of working in another country wherein I can bring my own family. so I tried to take NCLEX by using UWORLD and MARK KLIMEK as study materials. However, I failed my first attempt. I finished 265 items and it was really brain-draining for 5 hours. I knew I wasn’t well equipped that time because it’s extremely hard taking care of my newborn and at the same time studying. I don’t have any free time even for myself. But This experience didn’t hinder me from pursuing my AMerican dream . Please take note that “FAILURE is not an OPPOSITE of SUCCESS, it is a PART OF YOUR NCLEX SUCCESS JOURNEY”
I told myself I would take the exam again and be more prepared. I knew I really needed help so I enrolled myself in the IPASS ONLINE REVIEW PROGRAM to refresh my knowledge and all the concepts in NCLEX. I followed the educator’s advice. I used all the qbanks
in UWORLD, printed and read ROADMAP to NCLEX, watched youtube nclex clips, and answered highly recommended q banks(tried ARCHER too) to practice priority and delegation. and SATAS. But the last thing I wasn’t able to handle well was my anxiety, I was preoccupied, I slept until 2 am on the day of my exam. ( please try nyo po mag relax on the day prior to the exam) With God’s help and grace, I nailed NCLEX at 75 items. I knew He was sitting beside me inside the examination room. I felt his presence and I was able to focus on answering each item.
The content of the IPASS review program is just what me and future NCLEX takers are looking for. It is structured to prepare students while waiting for the examination day. It contains a complete package starting from the introduction, test-taking strategies, comprehensive summary of NCLEX topics, practice tests, SATA drills, drug calculations and MOCK test for assessment . I highly recommend the educators because they are extremely effective in sharing their knowledge, expound on each topic, mastery of pathophysiology, and are great motivators to boost up our confidence. I like that we start our ZOOM class through prayers kasi we get closer and connected to God, He is ourit gives us more HOPE and FAITH to continue studying.
I would like to express my gratitude to all IPASS educators. Ang perfect ng TANDEM nyo.
