If you are applying for the NCLEX-RN examination and you have chosen to apply through Texas Board of Nursing, you will come across Nursing Jurisprudence Exam (NJE). Also, this exam will be required during the license endorsement application. So what is this all about?
The NJE is one of the requirements that is required by Texas Board of Nursing to all applicants who are applying for initial licensure. The applicant must need to pass the NJE before the license will be issued by the board. Basically, the NJE will be about the Texas Nursing Practice Act, the board’s nursing rules and the board’s regulations. Further, the examination provides the knowledge about how one can practice as a nurse in Texas. Here are some of the things that you need to remember:
The Nursing Jurisprudence Examination will not discuss anything about the NCLEX. It will not ask you any question that is related to your NCLEX.
You may check the Nursing Law and Rules via the Texas Board of Nursing’s website. You may also view the nurse practice act, board rules and regulations but if it’s too much information to read on, then, the Nursing Jurisprudence Prep course comes handy. The prep course is much like a review prior to the NJE.
Don’t fret! We know that you can get it done easily. Besides, it is an unlimited examination.
