Yes, all the hard work and sacrifices were all worth it. It was the 21st of October 2018 when I took my examination. With the Lord’s grace, love and mercy, I was able to make it through, that I was an NCLEX passer. I had the support given to me by my family, friends, and IPASS Processing to push me closer to success. Our hearts felt so thankful and full of gratitude for making it. Blessings after blessings came to us since then. After that, I realized that the IELTS exam was still there to be taken. Doubt and worries circled my mind and I knew there was the need for overcoming it.
It took all the courage I could get. I poured it all through prayers and perseverance, with the hope of achieving that American dream for me and my family. With two months of preparation, I scheduled my exam last March 2019. I did everything possible to arm myself ready for the battle I had to face, and the happiness we felt was not short-lived for I passed the IELTS! Maybe the good news needed something bad in exchange because, in the first week of June, I found out that I had dengue fever. We were devastated about it and I felt so weak.
Hospital bills were expensive and money was short. It was the same month when my agency contacted about me receiving my receipt notice (PD). I needed to choose whether to have my visa screen processed on my own or do it with IPASS Processing. With the financial shortage, it was a very tough choice. I was contemplating at first, but upon hearing about the affordable processing fee, I decided to finally do the processing with them.
Everything was a smooth journey, just only having some troubles with NMI BON. They were hard to contact and they reply inconsistently whenever I followed up on my documents. Despite the problems I encountered, Ms. Jean Olivar was very adamant and had constantly communicated with them. She always gave me updates regarding the process. It sure took me extra patience to actually deal with NMI BON, but it was better with the good help. While waiting for my visa screen completion, my agency informed me that my PD got approved last November 26.
Things came easy that by December 11, they’ve already sent my case to the Department of State for visa processing. Truly, God works even if we put doubt on those plans already prepared for us. I celebrated Christmas and New Year holidays with a joyful heart. We all ended 2019 with good memories and welcomed another year bringing so much optimism for new opportunities and hope. Just on the third day of 2020, CGFNS mailed my visa screen certificate. I received the NVC fee bill from an email sent by my agency.
Things were not that easy but with the good choices and right people around me, I thought I’ll get there someday. The process was long and unclear but if we paved way for Him to work in our midst, our dreams will come true in His most perfect time. My greatest gratitude was for those people who helped me, especially my agency.
With IPASS Processing, I am now a step closer to my dreams. Sharing this milestone to everyone is a huge pleasure of mine, not with the intention to brag, but to inspire the people around me. My heart is always in gratitude for the love and overwhelming blessings I receive. Every single day, I know that He is watching over us, walking and helping us throughout all of life’s obstacles. All we need is to trust those plans that are a million times better than the ones we have created for ourselves.
