New York

Single state. Regardless if you are already in New York or you are still outside new york the status of your license remains to be the same.

Nursing Experience

Texas

To be approved for your nclex application, the applicant must have graduated within the past 4 years. If the applicant graduated beyond 4 years then the applicant must have worked within the past 4 years. Your nursing  experience will not be accepted if it’s from the BPO Company or if you were previously working in academe as a clinical instructor.

New York

Whether you have a nursing experience or you do not have an experience, your NCLEX application through this Board of Nursing will be approved. They seem to be more lenient on this factor.

Cost of living if you are already in the United States

It is more affordable to live in the state of Texas compared with New York because in Texas, the resident only pay 1 tax while in New York you will pay more than 1 tax.
